Trader Monthly, the premier lifestyle magazine for financial traders, has recognized DealBook®360, the proprietary foreign exchange trading platform of Global Forex Trading (GFT), as the “Best Foreign Exchange Platform” in the magazine’s Trader Monthly Awards.
The inaugural Trader Monthly Awards were established to celebrate the annual “bests” in the trading world. The editors of Trader Monthly recognized the top people, products and companies for their remarkable achievements in 2006 in a variety of trading-related categories.
Top honors were announced at a reception last night at the fittingly luxurious Maybach Studio in New York City. More than 200 prominent movers and shakers from the financial community attended the event, including GFT’s President and CEO, Gary L. Tilkin, who accepted the company’s award.
“We are honored to be recognized by Trader Monthly as the best in foreign exchange,” said Tilkin, who credits the platform’s success to GFT’s continuous technological innovation and superior global customer service practices.
“We’ve always listened to our traders and use their suggestions to enhance our software and services, which I think has helped to improve our customers’ overall experience in the market,” said Tilkin.
GFT’s DealBook® 360 includes many standout features at no cost to GFT’s traders, including real–time pricing and order execution for more than 110 currency pairs, integrated charting and exclusive technical analysis tools.
“When you can provide diverse foreign exchange traders from around the world with the tools they need to attack the market, it can really pay off big,” said Tilkin.
GFT has been recognized by a number of recent awards. In December 2006, it was named “Best Foreign Exchange Broker” by Shares magazine. The company was also named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest–growing technology companies in North America, in 2006 and 2005. GFT was named to the 2006 Inc. 500, a ranking of the top 500 fastest–growing private companies in the United States, for its three–year growth rate of 331 percent.
